Established in 2001 as MapleMusic Recordings, Cadence Music offers in-house marketing, promotion, publicity, A&R, creative services, publishing and licensing to a roster that includes both emerging talent and established artists.

With distribution support from Cadence Music Group’s Fontana North division, working in partnership with Universal Music in Canada and INgrooves internationally, Cadence Music combines the personalized, artist-friendly approach of an independent record company with the execution and reach of a major label. Cadence has been named Independent Record Label of the Year at the Canadian Music Industry Awards on four separate occasions and its artists have won 36 JUNOs and a dozen Grammys.
