(Toronto, ON – October 9, 2018) – Joey Landreth, gave us “Forgiveness” this past summer and now he’s back – check out his latest “Dangerous Heart” here.
On the track Joey explains, “‘Dangerous Heart’ tells the story of two people who are stuck and lean on each other to get unstuck. The first verse describes one person recognizing a sense of adventure in In the other and using it as inspiration to prop themselves up. In the chorus, ‘let’s get out while we’ve got time, spend our lives on the outside’ could really describe a number of different situations. A small town, a bad relationship, a job. choose your own adventure!”
Joey kicked off The Forgiveness Tour in Nashville with a sold-out show in June and has since traveled to stops across the US and the UK. Canadian fans will be able to catch him on the road this fall test driving “Dangerous Heart,” among more brand new songs that will appear on his upcoming 2019 effort. Tour dates below!
His recent single “Forgiveness” climbed the CBC Music charts this summer and reached #10. The release of his debut solo album Whiskey in 2017, along with subsequent touring that took him across Canada, the US and Europe, earned rave reviews from critics and fans; showcasing Landreth as a songwriter, vocalist, musician and performer in his own right. Fans will have a lot to look forward to with the upcoming tour dates and new songs.
