(Toronto, ON – February 7, 2020) – Today, the Headstones share a brand-new video for their latest single “Horses,” from their critically acclaimed full-length album PEOPLESKILLS. The video was shot at Ace And Sword Tattoo shop, which sees the band performing in-store while lead guitarist, Trent Carr, gets inked with a brand new tattoo. Watch the video here.

PEOPLESKILLS, has earned them high praise from fans and critics alike with Ben Rayner of The Toronto Star proclaiming it an “Old School Punk Barnburner.” The album was nominated for aJUNO for Rock Album Of The Year, making it the band’s fifth JUNO nomination, and to celebrate the band are releasing PEOPLESKILLS on vinyl on March 27th. This marks the first time a Headstones album has been available on LP and finally answers fans’ most often asked question “When can I get this on vinyl?” Included as a bonus on this exclusive pressing is the band’s 2019 cover of the classic Gordon Lightfoot song “The Wreck Of The Edmund Fitzgerald.” This limited edition pressing will be available for pre-order via the band’s website starting today. (Toronto, ON – October 25, 2019) – Paying homage to their punk rock roots the Headstones continue to embrace their unique DIY punk rock philosophy and with PEOPLESKILLS, remind us of why they are one of Canada’s most enduring bands.

The ability to evolve while still remaining true to their original aesthetic is a rare thing but the Headstones have been able to do this with the help of their own brand of brash self assuredness. On PEOPLESKILLS, the Headstones have never sounded more urgent, relentless or raw. From the opening notes of the lead single “Leave It All Behind”, through to the sweeping orchestral sounds of “Motorcade” and ending with the crunching guitars and wailing harmonica of album closer “That’s What I Get”, PEOPLESKILLS is a 34 minute sonic journey that showcases why this band endures and thrives.

The band is also sharing a brand-new video for album track “Dimes and Pennies.” Like the video for the lead single “Leave It All Behind” this video was also shot with director Gord Hawkins and filmed at the famed Kingston Penitentiary. Watch the video here.

The first single from PEOPLESKILLS “Leave It All Behind” is at radio now and hit #5 on the Billboard Rock Chart and #7 on the Mediabase Active Rock chart this week with no signs of slowing down. The video has been viewed over 140k times.

Headstones will also play The Phoenix in Toronto on December 7th as part of the 94.9 The Rock Craig Venn & Lucky’s Unsilent Night concert with Finger Eleven. A portion of proceeds going to benefit the Unison Benevolent Fund.
